Kevin Lyon

I drove trucks for the Air Force.
Now I build software systems that outlast the people who commissioned them.

Houston-based technologist with an unlikely origin story — Air Force logistics veteran, MIS graduate, data scientist, and accidental software consultant. Over 25 years of building systems for businesses that needed something the off-the-shelf world couldn't provide.

The through line, from driving supply convoys in Saudi Arabia to designing data warehouses for energy companies, is the same: figure out what actually needs to happen, and make it work reliably.

Logistics & Transportation · Honorably Discharged

Yes, the Air Force. No, not a pilot. Logistics and transportation — the less glamorous side of the service, but someone has to keep things moving. Stationed in Aviano, Italy and San Antonio, TX; temporary assignments in Turkey and Saudi Arabia in support of Operation Desert Shield/Storm.
